In the second column, write a brief description of that research method. In the third column, provide a situation when this method could be applied. Research Method Description Application Scientific method Case study method Analyze a person or a group It maybe a psychiatrist listening to a person talk about their problems. Studying everything they say to come up with a conclusion. Survey method Similar to a investigation a large survey is taken of people I once had this done when I applied for a 911 dispatcher . So this may be done to see how one acts, or in a large setting to report some ones personality or behavior. Naturalistic observation

Experimental method Experimental method is changing a variable to see what the out come may be. If a child keeps outing out in school, it maybe because of a situation at home.
