Course Grading and Requirements: *Participation and Attendance in Discussion Sections: 20% Active attendance and participation in classes is essential in order to create a community where students learn together. *Writing Assignments: 20% There will be two papers to be announced that will involve students doing some anthropology. * Midterm exam 30% Exam consisting of short essays, short answer, and multiple choice. Date will be announced in class. * Final exam : 30%. Exam consisting of short essays, short answer, and multiple choice.
