PRELIMINARY STUDY GUIDE This is the majority of the Guide — through Myth/Rx #10 & Casablanca (4/21/09). FOR EXAM #2 (FINAL EXAM) THURSDAY, MAY 7, 2009 12:10 P.M. SHARP* IN OUR CLASSROOM THIS IS THE FINAL EXAM PERIOD SCHEDULED BY THE UNIVERSITY FOR T/T 3:00-4:15 CLASSES. Any other Tempe campus class final exams at this time are illegally scheduled. NOTE THE START TIME OF THE EXAM, WHICH IS DIFFERENT FROM OUR REGULAR CLASS TIME. 150 items (1 point each) * If you come to the exam after even just ONE student has completed the exam and left the room, we cannot let you take this exam (and you will have 75 points deducted from your total course points) — SO PLEASE BE ON TIME! You also cannot leave the exam and return to complete it — so use the rest rooms PRIOR to starting this nearly 2-hour exam. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN SHARPENED #2 PENCIL(S) AND AN ERASER (& A SHARPENER, IF YOU’LL NEED ONE; 0UR ROOM DOESN’T HAVE ONE). YOU MUST ALSO BRING YOUR ASU PHOTO I.D. WITH YOUR AFFILIATE NUMBER. Study the “Instructions for Taking Exams in EDC-117” and “Sample of the Form of the Test Items” — posted on the “EXAM INFO” link on our class Blackboard. I've posted this Study Guide as a WORD document, so you can type your answers and notes right into it, or you can add extra lines if you prefer to hand-write your answers and notes. To make it easier, I’ve posted the content by SLR Chapter, together with related discussions and documents. This document has 1.25” left and right margins, and 1” top and bottom margins. If you set your computer to the same margins, it should line up better. Please feel free to use Blackboard to e-mail the class to inquire about setting up study groups. However, please do NOT send Blackboard e-mails to the entire class to ask the answers to items on the Study Guide, as most students find this extremely annoying. You can also check the Discussion Board FAQs Forum. THANKS, Dr. Galician

MCO 473 FINAL EXAM PRELIMINARY STUDY GUIDE — Page 2 NOTE: Don’t be overwhelmed by the length and detail of this Study Guide. It’s simply a final check-list after you have completed your normal studying for the exam. If you’ve conscientiously attended both online and classroom sessions and kept up with the reading, you should know the answers to most of the items below (or be able to easily find them). This is a 400-level course, but your exam is merely multiple choice and true-and-false, so you should be able to answer 150 basic items about the content of the course. TIPS AND HINTS As you know, exams cover assigned textbook reading, postings, lectures, discussions, guests, videos, etc. This Study Guide offers some key questions for your consideration as you complete your study for this Final Exam (Exam #2.) This list is not exhaustive, but it covers the majority of what you will find for the subjects we have covered. You will not be asked “tricky” or “picky” questions. However, you DO have to have studied the
