Blake Sherman Intro to American Politics 09/08/2008 Worth the Fighting For I don't doubt the sincerity of my Democratic friends. And they should not doubt ours. As said by John McCain. I feel this quote sums up John McCain’s views in congress. This man has been through a lot. Most of the informed American public has heard his war and P.O.W stories, along with many of his congressman stories, and personal life experiences. These days in America a politician life story almost makes or breaks him, from what he does in him personal life to different bills he has voted on. I’m hoping to figure out if his campaign for presidency has changed him as it did to Redford’s Character. As we saw in the movie The Candidate, campaigns can change politicians greatly. In the beginning Robert Redford’s Character was very passionate about his views. He was also set on running the campaign his way. Many of the other characters in this movie would try and persuade him to run his campaign how they wanted him to. Redford’s character did very well in
