Prerequisite: SC/Math 1013 3.00 Applied Calculus I. Math1014 is a sequel to Math1013 and will use the same textbook. If you failed Math1013, you should retake it before you take Math1014. Lectures: Mon, Wed, Fri 9:30 - 10:20 in Vari Hall D. Tutorials: Tutors for all calculus courses are available at the ”Math Lab” in S525 Ross Building: Monday to Friday. It starts from the second week. For the time, check the course website. Textbook: “Calculus-Early Transcendentals” (6th Edition) by James Stewart (Brooks/Cole Publishers) Grading: Three term tests. Each accounts for 20% of your final. The time is 50 minutes. Final exam accounts for 40% (in Dec. 2010) of your final. The time is 3 hours.
