Explain how this is accomplished in this experiment. What calculations do you need to perform? What measurements will be made? [Do not provide experimental details here]. ( 5 pts ) We learn how to prepare standard solutions to generate a calibration curve by using a digital pipettor to deliver a small volume of the stock solution to a 10mL volumetric flask. Next, we add deionized water to dilute the stock solution to the calibraon mark. We will prepare 5 different standard solutions. We will use the following equation to solve for any unknowns: [stock solution] x Volume of stock solution = [given solution] x (volume of stock solution + volume of water added) From calculated/measured values, we will know how much stock solution to add in order to prepare a standard solution with a specified concentration.
