PART 2 Let f ( x ) = ax2 + b where a is the number in Cell B51 . You are to make an array of va for f ( x ), computed for different values of x and b . (i) Merge Cells B48:J48 and format the merged cell with light grey fill and a black bo Enter the formula f ( x ) = ax 2 + b in the merged cell as bold face text . Be sure that italics and superscript are exactly as shown in this sentence. (ii) Enter -0.5 in Cell D51 and -0.4 in Cell D52 . Drag these down to display the numb -0.5, -0.4, -0.3, -0.2, -0.1, 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5 in Cells D51:D61 . (iii) Enter a formula in Cell E51 that will compute the value of f ( x ) = ax 2 + b for the v of a in Cell B51 , the value of x in Cell D51 , and the value of b in Cell E50 . Absolute and re cell addresses must be made so that the value used for a does not change when Cell E51 is dragged in any direction, the value used for x changes only when the cell is dragged vertical and the value used for b changes only when the cell is dragged horizontally.
