The kinetics of the decomposition of dinitrogen pentoxide to nitrogen dioxide and oxygen was studied at 298 K by measuring the decay of the dinitrogen pentoxide as a function of time. The graph of the decomposition is shown below: a. (5 pts) From the graph, it was determined that the initial rate was 6.11 x 10 -4 Ms -1 . Estimate the rate when the concentration of the dinitrogen pentoxide is 0.40 M.
