Human Performance 25 15:37 Blood Distribution: Rest: Organ/Tissue: Brain 750ml 13%. Heart 250ml 4%.  Muscle 1200ml 21%. Skin 500mL 8.5%. Kidney 1100mL 19%. Abs 1400 24%.  Total 5800mL. Max exercise: Brain 750 3%. Heart 1000ml 4%. Muscle 2200ml  88%. Skin 600* 2.5. Kidney 250ml 1%. Abs 300ml less than 1%. Total 25000. Redirecting Blood: Artery   Arterio Venous Shunt “A-vshunt” a bypass the way.  Capillary beds.   Vein. Blood to where it is. By constricting and dialate the body  can take blood to where it is need. Shunt is a bypass. Oxygen Consumption: Y: Vo2 (l/min) X: time (min). The graph would increase  and then achieve a steady state. This is dependent on the work load. The higher  the workload the higher the steady state is. The area within the rectangle that the  graph makes it shows the oxygen you would need. The formula is Steady State X  #min according to chart. So 20X5 is 10L. However, in this example, the person is  consuming less than 10 Liters. They actually consume whatever is under the line
