EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This is a ‘Brand Management’ report of “CAPRI”. The purpose of the report is to conduct a comprehensive study on the soap market in Pakistan and the present state of “Capri Toilet Soap”. The soap market is highly competitive and diversified. The market share comprises of soaps that are into anti-bacterial soap segment and beauty soap segment. Capri faces competition in both the segments. The report comprises of complete “SWOT Analysis”, “Marketing Objectives including: Product, Distribution, Pricing and Promotional Objectives”, “Marketing Strategies based on three main components: Target Markets, Positioning, and the Marketing Mix including Product, Price, Placement and Promotional Strategies”. “Strategy including: Brand Persona, Target Market and Positioning”. To achieve their goals ZULFEQAR INDUSTRIES LIMITED are improving the image of Capri and repositioning it to increase sales, they will use the same marketing strategies as discussed in the marketing plan.

Established: Saba Limited 1954 Wazir Ali Industries 1958 Zulfeqar Industries Limited 1980 The Ali family consolidated soap business in 1954 under the name “Saba Limited” a private limited company. After bifurcating soap business from Sindh Oil Mills located at Hali Road, Hyderabad. Subsequently, the family established a Razor Blade factory and Ghee mills in the adjoining premises. All the FOUR companies were merged in 1958 and Wazir Ali Industries Limited, a public limited company was found having three composite units of Ghee, Soap and Razor Blades. Wazir Ali Industries launched “CAPRI” toilet soap in 1969, which eventually became the market leaders and best seller till 1988.
