Bias The first bias statement that I found was in the statement “There is only one man who can rid the politics of this state of the evil domination of Boss Jim Getty’s” (Wells para1) the reason why I think this is bias is because Charles Foster Kane is not the only one running for governor. Another statement I found is the way the current governor is portrayed by saying he has run the state like a dictatorship by saying “Evil domination”. (Wells para1) Fallacies I found that Mr. Kane used a quilt trip fallacy in this statement,” The decent ordinary citizens know that I will do everything in my power to protect the under privileged, the underpaid, and the underfed.” He used the words decent along with citizens to get his voters attention and their votes. This also implies that Kane will their best interest at heart. He did this to attempt to influence the citizens for their vote. That if they are ordinary and decent that they should vote for him.
