Business systems has become a intricle part to any company who wants to
succeed in the business world. The Sysco Corporation has attempted to
keep up with the industry by implementing several of there own business
systems

These systems have seen relative success in what they
set out to achieve. The company is hoping a new business system will
achieve the companies goal of creating a more structured and centralized
organization. This new business intelligence system provided by Business
Objectives, a company that specializes in the installment and
maintainment of enterprise-level systems, will have its fair share of
questions that will need to be addressed before it can become a success.
The Sysco Corporation will face several obstacles as they begin to
implement their newly purchased business intelligence systems into their
highly diversified company structure. The biggest obstacle they
corporation will likely face will be maintaining consistency as the
implementation takes place. The reason why this is
such a large
obstacle is because Sysco is so decentralized. The company has so many
divisions that, "In early 2003, SYSCO contained 83 regional operations
and 62 specialty companies." All of these divisions remain at a very
