Advancements in Computers Advancements in Computers My desktop is a HP PentiumD 820. The CPU in my desktop is 2.80 GHz/800 MHz, my RAM is 512 MB and Rom is 512 MB. The memory on my computer is 1 GB and the following is a list of all the inputs and outputs to my computer: 1 – 9 in 1 (4 Slot) 1 – 1394 2 – USB 1 – headphone 1 – microphone 1 – audio L-R 1 – s-video in 1 – composite video in But, I bought this computer in 2006 and many things have changed since then. I am not very computer savvy so I have not updated my computer at all, though I know I should. Since it is now 4 years later my computer is considered ancient in computer years. When buying a new computer one must really consider what one is going to be using that computer for because all computers are made differently for all different reasons. There are computers made strictly for surfing the net, some are made for gamers, others are made for someone that does photography. When looking at computer specifications one must be sure of what one will be using this
