Sequencing the instruction (12 pts)(bilal) To prepare a procedural material, the knowledge must be  adapted to the real life. It must be about how to apply it. The sequence that we mention in ‘Instructional Approach’  part basically is Goals Presentation Practice Feedback We stay with the instructional plan. However we are  going to talk about two different components of light in  photography. After giving goals, we examine the  components as separated. This will be understood as  better by this flow diagram. 1. Goals 2. Presentation of Shutter 3. Practice for Shutter 4. Feedback about Shutter 5. Presentation of Aperture 6. Practice for Aperture 7. Feedback about Aperture 8. Summary about Aperture, Shutter and their  relation 9. Assessment We think that if we had explained these two concepts  together in these entire steps learner may have  difficulties. To make sure that learners understand these  two abstract components, we choose explain concepts as  separated. In presentation parts, learners are told what the concept  is, what values it can be in details. 1

In Practice parts, learners are shown two different  photographs with different light values.  Photos will be in  same screen and their values can be seen as clearly. That  makes learner see the effect of component in apply part.  To give feedback, we use same two photos. With an  explanation, learners are told what they have to be  careful about. This step will repeat itself for other  component and then the summary part will come.
