K. Remillard How much gas is wasted waiting on a kid at the parking lot of McCants Middle School? Does the world waste to much gas just waiting on kids at school? Does an eight cylinder waste more gas than a six cylinder? Research has predicted that an eight cylinder will waste more gas than a six cylinder. In research, there are many differences between cylinders. There are also many differences between the gases the cars use. This project as many independent variables. There are many different types of car engines there are v4, v6, v8, v10 and v12s. The cylinders are made into two rows, which are also called banks. The two cylinders lean into the shaft giving the cylinders there “V” shape (Graham 21). These cylinders also are classified; they are classified by a number. This number stands for how many strokes of energy it produces. Like a four cylinder, it produces one stroke of energy out of four strokes it takes (Graham 20). The amount of power a car gives out usually depends on how big a car is, because a bigger car needs a bigger engine. Small cars usually are v4
