EL 5473 Introduction to VLSI Design Spring 2010 This course will cover CMOS processing technology, basic device fundamentals, logic design, static/dynamic circuit design, performance and power estimation, clocking strategies, I/O structures, datapath, memory, and control logic design. Advanced VLSI CAD tools will be used for schematic creation, layout generation, timing analysis, performance and energy evaluation, and function verification.
