qualitative tests for ions are needed by comparing two different phenomena
in 2
sample ,forming dark purple precipitate in order to test iodide .and in the second
process one substance will react with lead cation by forming a dark precipitate ,a
metal sulfide.
Purpose: The purpose of this experiment is to determine the formula for the
ionic solid formed in a reaction and to write the chemical equation for the
reaction.
