Chooses among Goddesses and women, those who will produce people for his world order (e.g. the Titan Memory to produce the Muses and Themis to produce the seasons “The Horae” {with respect to the seasons of the world order}) iii. Possibility of Zeus creating a son who will overthrow him b. Olympians Existing at the Fall of Cronos i. Zeus ii. Poseidon iii. Hera iv. Demeter v. Hestia vi. (Hades) vii. Aphrodite c. Hera + Zeus’s Children i. Hephaestus (sometimes called Ambidexter) 1. Hideously ugly (no power of seduction) 2. Not taken seriously 3. Handicapped/lame (lack of power) 4. Married to Aphrodite by Zeus as a cosmic joke.
