Evenings in North America Evenings in North America are extremely quiet that people who emigrate from Mexico think that evenings are awfully boring (TS). When people first arrive to U.S.A. find it very difficult to get used to such a quiet place. In Mexico, no matter where people live, they can have late parties (A). In fact, I lived in Mexico for 16 years. During that period of time I lived in three different cities where my friends and families could enjoy late parties. They could start parties in the evening and it would end the next morning. For Mexican people, parties must have loud music (1). At Mexican parties, music is indispensable in order to dance and have fun. In addition, Mexican families have parties at least once a week, as a form of recreation and a way to coexist with their neighbors. On the other hand, in U.S, if people want to have a party, they should end it before 10:00pm, and if the party does not finish earlier than this time, neighbors will be more likely to report to the police about the
