Unformatted text preview: SUMMER REVIEW for students entering INTERACTIVE ALGEBRA/GEOMETRY II Your high school mathematics courses are cumulative. This means that you will need to utilize concepts previously learned to be successful. The reason for this review is to reacquaint you with necessary skills to be successful in this year's math course. You are to complete this review assignment during the course of the summer and submit it to your new teacher on the second day of school, Wednesday September 8th. It will be counted as your first assignment grade. Due to the nature of its importance, it will be weighted higher than that of a regular homework assignment. You may utilize the internet (see the websites of the math teachers for some helpful links or search the topic), use math textbooks (visit the West Deptford library), or work together to pool your knowledge of skills. This assignment will also serve as a basis of preparing for a review assessment which will be given during the first full week of school. If you do not perform as expected, you will need to sign up for a peer tutor or stay after school to continue your review of these topics.
