Week One Recap. Some of you had a bumpy start, but that is to be expected. Others took to the board and posted like champions. Either way I believe we met the objectives of Week One – familiarization of the Moodle board and development of relationships. Discussion Board Recaps – It is clear from your DQ posts many of us have reservations when it comes to writing. It is a difficult subject and one that has a way of making enemies faster than friends. Writing also functions on a feeding cycle – if you write one paper well you ride a high and channel that high into your next paper. The same thing happens when you are unsuccessful in a paper – your next paper is usually unsuccessful as well. By understanding your relationship to writing you can help to better your relationship to it. If you are aware introductions send you into a panic you can start to address other methods for composing an introduction. If you can admit you are a procrastinator or have problems developing topic ideas you can adjust to deal with these issues. While we have varying levels of experience with online classes it is clear everyone is excited
