Michael Walters When one opens a health magazine they expect to see, toned bodies and a surplus of muscles. The advertisers know this, and they never disappoint. With nearly half of health magazines today being advertisements, it can be hard to tell them apart. Nearly all the products featured have a posed or flexed person somewhere in the advertisement. While it may seem that most health supplemental advertisements are all the same, it is the subtle differences that make them unique. This particular advertisement is for Whey Protein. It displays a full page spread of a man lifting a weight while looking directly at you. Naturally, the guy is extremely built and towering with muscles, being that is an advertisement for a health product. Whey Protein bottle clearly positioned in the bottom right corner of the page, just below the semi lifted dumbbell. The text is in white while the tint of the background image is slightly red, as if the picture was taking during a sunset. "My Choice" is the largest words on the spread. Then in the following two sentences,
