Matt Pitzer AEM 120 Business Idea Form Idea #1 Product Description An electronic printer in bathrooms that sells certain articles from popular magazines so you can read them while you are on the toilet. Targeted Market People who are on the go but want to read articles about current news when they have the time in the bathroom. Price Point Each article would probably be sold for about $0.3 to $0.5 Revenue Model The revenue model would be per unit sold along with advertising because you could print ads on the side of the articles. Initial Investment You would have to invest in the actual machines that dispense the articles and a labor force to design the product. ~$100,000 Estimated Operating Costs Each month you would need to pay for maintaining the machines and pay for use of the articles from the magazine companies. ~$20,000 Idea #2 Product Description A chain of retail stores that makes fashionable customized clothes for a somewhat reasonable price. Targeted Market Teenagers that shop a lot at Abercrombie or other similar stores and who are into fashion. The product would be aimed at people who like wearing unique fashionable clothes. Price Point The price point would range depending on what article of clothing is being customized. For example, polo shirts would probably be about $45. Revenue Model The revenue would be collected per unit sold.
