Informative Memo ___________________________________ _ To: Mary Tate, Director of Human Resources From: Niema Kitt Date: March 12, 2010 Subject: Two-day Writing Course Summary Ms. Tate your request for information regarding effective writing from a business aspect, is address within a generalize standards of effective writing skills. Most of the documentation being written for the company pertains to policies and procedures for the client and the employee. Each department requirement for writing differentiates, depending on the source of the information that is address within the natural of the documentation. Types of Writing There are four type of business writing that should be address when individual grasp the concept of writing with a corporation. Business reports, internal and external memos, business letters, and most importantly meeting minutes. Business reports are addressing background information that give results of procedures, findings from investigations, conclusion base on the findings of the investigation, and recommendations for action to take to correct any of the findings. Business memos are considered memorandum which can be internal (meaning only within the company),
