Sam Keath Professor Diebert ENGL 1101-109 16 July 2008 Analysis of “Jesus Camp” 1. The part of the movie that sticks with me the most is the funniest part. This is when they were at the camp in North Dakota and Becky was praying over the Power Point presentation, electrical system, computer, microphone, sound system, seats, etc. I was thinking that she must think “computer viruses” must be a creation of the devil. LOL. And anti-virus software is a creation by God. However, I know that viruses are the work of some crazy computer geeks that are trying to expose the weaknesses and flaws of today’s computer systems. 2. The main problem was converting young America into Christianity. They believed that if all Evangelists voted, then they could change America into a pure Christian country. The solution was the Evangelical camps that recruited young kids. They admitted that their main target was young people. They must have believed that younger children are easier to persuade into a particular religion. The camps lured the young children by incorporating fun activities, such as go-
