Sam Keath Professor C. Jett MATH 0097 15 July 2008 Math Bonus Reflection Paper I never really used math that much until gas prices went up. Now I’m always trying to calculate how many miles I can get out of a gallon of gas. Some of the formulas I have learned in this class helped me figure out how to calculate the gallon to mileage ratio. I used to hate fractions, but I now I realize how important and useful it can be. I have realized that math is all around me and everywhere I look. I think this class will provide a strong foundation for some of my chemistry classes that I will need to take later on. I am not sure but I’m guessing there will be a lot of formulas that I will be using in chemistry. I’m planning to transfer to a four-year university such as Mercer for pharmacy. I know that I need to make a certain GPA in order to get into that school and hopefully I won’t start slacking off like I usually do. This summer session at GPC has been fun and interesting and I’m doing well so far, but from examining my academic history, I know
