Laptops $500 Or Less 2 As a college student I know how important having a little bit of money to your name is. Being in college, especially an online college, a laptop is a must have. As a new student it is hard to afford a laptop and pay your bills. I did some research on really good laptops under $500. Like all laptops, there is always going to be one better than the other so I went through and found the pros and cons of each laptop and narrowed my research down to the best laptop for college students. The following is the list of laptops and their prices least to greatest.

The Acer Aspire Laptop is a good laptop for a price of $380. Acer is considered by many as a value computer manufacturer, much like the Honda, Hyundai and Toyota of the car world. The computer provides excellent features at price much lower than the competition, but does not offer all the bells and whistles of the much higher priced competitors.
