By: Jennifer Johnson 1. Clearly identify the problem that Jack and Jenny are faced with The problem that Jack and Jenny are facing is employees who are overwhelmed by the volume of customers. Because of this their quality of service and product has declined. 2. Explain how each of the eight essential activities for leading change can be implemented to lead the organization in the adoption of the new technology. 1. Establishing a sense of urgency- Jack and Jenny should establish a sense of urgency by identifying the opportunities due to the increase in customer. They need to be frank and honest about the impact to Sandwich Blitz. They need to talk candidly about the weaknesses that they have right now because they do not offer e-customer order system customers. 2. Creating the guiding coalition – Jack and Jenny should include managers at all levels (Strategic, Tactical and Operational). They should do this to ensue that the group has enough power to lead the change. This will be important because as the change is communicated it needs to be driven down to all levels of the origination.
