Roles of an HR Manager Human resource managers are involved in a number of roles in today’s company environment. They are responsible for recruiting, staffing positions, compensation, benefits, labor relations, training/development of employees, appraisal and communications. While all of these are important to the success of the company I believe that the two most important areas that human resource managers are involved with are the training/development of employees and communications. The reason I think that the training/development of employees is important is that the employee is a company’s most important asset. The human resource manager in my company has conducted a number of training sessions for the management staff. Some of the topics were covered were how to motivate employees, the different generations in the work force and how to deal with stress. They have also conducted training session for the
