Home Sweet Home The last nineteen years of my life have been a journey with highs and lows and everything in between all adding up to this moment. The journey has taken me to many unexpected places and I have been privileged to bring myself closer to my greatest desire to see the world and all it has to offer. Despite the summers abroad and many opportunities to travel to new destinations, I have always felt a strange lack of something as the plane took off and landed on the many runways across the globe. The one thing that I can say I have never found in all my years of traveling was home. The place that I have referred to as “home” for almost two decades has changed many times and in many ways. With a father who is traveling more than he is home, a French mother who frequently visits home, and two sisters in boarding school, I was given the opportunity to raise myself. I use the word opportunity because I believe that my experience has allowed me to become a strong independent woman learning who I wanted to be at a young age. St.
