Your vocabulary sentences are graded on your ability to use your vocabulary words in a contextual sentence and on grammar. Feel free to ask if you do not understand any symbol or comment on your sentences. 1st LANG = First language interference 1 SIDE = Write on one side of paper only ADV = Use an adverb here ADJ = Use an adjective here APOS = Apostrophe mistake (363-364) AWK = Awkward language CAP = Capitalize first letter of each sentence or word (362-363) COH = Coherence; cannot understand what the writer means CS = Comma Splice C1 = Comma/Introduction (348) C2 = Comma/Two Independent Clauses (209-210) C3 = Comma/Series (348)
