Ryan Stevens May 9, 2007 Theatre 101 As You Like It Review On April 15, 2007 at 8:00pm I was able to see an adaptation to Shakespeare’s play, As You Like It, preformed by the Ashland Shakespeare Company of 2007 . This production chose to make the time period of this play take place in the mid 1930’s. Even though this play did not take place in the time period that it was suppose to, the cast, crew, and directors were all able to make it seem like the 1930’s was the correct time period for this all to take place. I highly recommend this play to everyone, and they should defiantly try and see it if they have the opportunity to. All aspects of this production were really well done and were very detailed to make it as realistic as possible. As soon as you walk into the theater, you could just tell that you were going to have a good time and enjoy the show. This play was filled with extraordinary actors who portrayed the famous characters such as Rosalind (Miriam A. Laube) (the daughter of Duke senior and the
