Courage Courage is the mean of fear and conFdence. We fear all evils, but not all of them seem to concern courage. ±urthermore there are many things which appear appropriate to fear, and it doesn’t seem courageous not to fear them. They are courageous when concerning a noble death within the limits of what humans can bear.
