PHY-152 EC4 Manual Addendum V: Procedure Follow the procedure in the manual with the following exceptions: V-1a: Set R3 to 300 Ohms. Set R3 to 300 Ohms. We are using a DVM instead of a galvanometer. For the DC portion of the lab, the DVM should be on the 200 mV DC scale. V-1c: Proceed as directed in the manual, but L in the manual is L on the data sheet and in subsequent calculations. V-3and V-4: We will use a digital volt meter (DVM) instead of an oscilloscope. Otherwise, this section remains unchanged from the manual. V-5: Proceed as directed in the manual, but the frequency will be 500 Hz, not 1000 Hz. WE will use a DVM instead of an Oscilloscope. If possible, measure the capacitance of your unknown capacitors with the DVM. V-6: No change from the manual. V-7: No change from the manual. VI: For the Report VI-1: Tabulate your data from sections V-1, V-2 and V-3. For each resistor, your table should include L 1 , L 2 , R x(dc) , R m , Rx(dc) . Rx(dc) is calculated using eqt. 11 in the manual.
