1. 2.2. Learning and teaching activities Recommended: It is highly recommended that all students purchase a copy of Brealey R, S. Myers, and F. Allen, Principles of Corporate Finance , 9th Edition, McGraw Hill, 2008. This text will serve as a useful general reference for all of your future finance studies. NOTE: Copies of the recommended text are freely available in closed reserve. Not required but may be useful: Perdisco, on-line workbooks. Brealey, Myers and Allen study guide. Perdisco on-line workbook. The Perdisco on-line workbook is a self study tool that has been introduced in response to student requests for more practice questions. Ninety-five percent of students that used similar workbooks in FINC2011 said that it helped their understanding of that course. Immediate feedback is provided so this is a valuable opportunity for you to assess your understanding and progress in the unit. Completing the Perdisco workbooks is voluntary and there are no grades assigned to this.
