Clicker Question 1 In a study from 2008, Uysal and colleagues examined membrane fatty acids from several fresh water fish species. They found that the relative percentage of saturated to unsaturated fatty acids associated with cell membranes varied over the year. In January the percentage of unsaturated fatty acids was significantly higher, while in July saturated fatty acids were more predominate.
