Welcome to Strengths I/ II Online Dear Student, Welcome to distance education at Cuesta College! My name is Jeff Jones, and I will be your instructor in the upcoming online version of Strengths I/II (ENGR252A/ B). This letter is to inform you of some important details prior to the commencement of the online class. Please read this page carefully!! Book Requirements You will need to purchase your textbook for the class. The textbook "Mechanics of Materials" 8 th edition by Hibbeler is in the bookstore and is a required text. I have also placed a copy of this text on reserve in the library. The cost of the book is about $140. You will also need the “Strengths Companion” and it can be downloaded free at www.YourOtherTeacher.com . ONLINE LECTURES There are several ways to learn the material on your own: -Read the book. - Watch the streaming video lectures online at www.YourOtherTeacher.com . The site will cost you to access the video lessons and these lessons match those in the free Strengths Companion. You
