Jackie AEP 3.1 Article Summary * Summary : This article, from TIME magazine, is about the new study which finds three household habits cut the risk of children obesity: regular family dinners, limited television hours, and enough sleep. According to the study, children who followed all three behaviors had a 40 % lower rate of obesity than children who did not have the routines. Furthermore, researchers stressed that even children who have more serious risk because of heredity and their parents' low income could reduced the risk of obesity if they adopt the routines. The three steps is very important because they can reap the positive benefits of social, emotional and cognitive development as well as they can prevent children from the threat

In my opinion, i strongly believe that these three household routines are very useful and helpful to reduce childhood obesity risk. That is because they are very easy and simple instructions that can be easily followed by every family. These days, obesity has become a worldwide epidemic. Obesity has caused serious health problems, such as cancer, diabetes, and strokes. Especially, child obesity is a more serious issue to be solved.
