Unformatted text preview: Leslie Hughes Media Review #4: US & China’s Reduction of Greenhouse Gasses The United States and China are the two biggest producers of greenhouse gasses in the world and are trying to work together to set reasonable goals to cut their emissions. Both the US and China are announcing goals for cutting emissions which is a step in the right direction but many experts on the issue say that it is not enough to reduce our levels of CO 2 in the atmosphere to where they need to be. My reaction to the coverage of this issue is mixed, I agree that this is a step in the right direction but that more needs to be done and that responsible media outlets should make that more of an issue. Hopefully response to this coverage of climate change and what needs to be done will be positive and inspire people to start making a difference, and care more about the environment. I believe that the coverage from both the Huffington Post and the Wall Street Journal was accurate which is a good thing, because with the unnecessary speculation on climate change and global warming there needs to be no room for error when...
