Capstone CheckPoint How has your view concerning the topic you covered in your final project changed throughout this course? The topic that I chose is “Is a person more than a physical body? What is the mind? What is thought?” The views concerning my final project topic have changed a great amount since I first started working in this class. I have learned a great deal about the human body and how the body is viewed as more than just a physical body. I have also learned how the mind and thought are tied to the human body and how they all tie together. There are many things that I did not know about this topic when I first started in this class. Therefore, I believe that I learned a great deal about the topic that I have chosen. There are many things that I did not put into perspective until I started to learn more about how the human body, mind, and thought tie together to form more than the physical body. I believe that without the mind and thought then the physical human body would just be a lifeless soul. The physical human body would be a zombie because

Therefore, I believe that I have learned a great deal from participating in this philosophy class. I originally thought that this would be a difficult class, but this class was just a challenge that I believe I have overcome. I believe that I have learned a great deal about philosophy because when I first started this class I did not know anything about philosophy and I had to ask my mother what philosophy is, but since then I have learned some things about philosophy that I never thought I would know. I have also learned much more about my chosen final project topic that I would have never known was possible before entering into this class nine weeks ago. Therefore, I am very glad that I have chosen this particular topic to study in this philosophy class because I have learned so much that I never would have thought was possible when entering college last year....
