Believed that it is a mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it. Believed that what lies in our power to do, also lies in our power not to do. Believed that all evil is cause by ignorance. Believed people who cheat, lie, steal, harm others are always motivated to do so by their own ignorance concerning what is good. Believed that people dont know what is important in life, so they seek wealth, fame, power, and in doing so they find they must cheat, lie, steal, and harm others. 11/12/10 Conclusion Aristotle, Plato, and Socrates all had great ideas, but they all had different ideas.
