Memory Keepers Daughter 2 Abstract The Memory Keepers Daughter is about a couple that had a great marriage until their twins were born. Dr. David Henry and his wife Norah were expecting twins. Norah went into labor and due to bad weather conditions; Dr Henry decided to deliver the babies with the help of his assistant Caroline Gill. Upon delivering the babies, Dr. Henry discovers that the baby boy is healthy and the baby girl seems to have some type of developmental disability.

Memory Keepers Daughter 3 Once the babies were delivered Norah fell into a deep sleep from being so tired of all the work of delivering the babies. The Doctor (father) and his assistant Caroline Gill cleaned the babies up. The baby boy was strong and healthy however, the baby girl seemed to have a developmental disability. Which was later to be known as Down syndrome. Upon discovering this Dr. Henry asks his assistant Carline to take the baby girl and drop her off at an institution where the baby can be cared for. He would tell his wife Norah that the baby girl was born dead upon her awakening. I think that the father reacted too fast and selfishly. He felt he had to make a decision
