Special Needs Prisoner II In the article “Managing Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex Inmates: Is Your Jail Ready?” it is addressing the concerns of these people. It seems as if there has been controversy as where to house them? Who does strip searches based upon their characteristics? Do we continue to provide hormones that are needed to continue the development stages they are in/ What about those who are in the surgery process to complete a transformation? Housing these people in jail does create chaos. The reason chaos is created because some inmates have extreme disgust and are hatred towards these people. The jail has to still provide for them medically and avoid unconstitutional confinement of them. Then there is also the risk of sexual acts being committed. In most
