TAX LAW UPDATES We at SWFT are committed to providing our adopters with the most current information about the tax law. The next twelve months are certain to see a large number of changes to the tax law, given the prevailing political conditions and the current environment of increasing revenue needs at the Federal, state, and local levels. Federal tax law changes now are enacted several times each year, and our students will find it difficult to integrate the expiring "Bush tax cuts," economic stimulus and health care bills, and AMT “patches” into their learning process. Here are some resources that may be helpful to you in working with your students during this period of legislative activity. We will keep this listing of resources current as the legislative sessions progress, so come back to this page often for additional materials and commentary on these critical topics.
