Unformatted text preview: Homework Assignments Homework Chapter 1 Assignment Information Maximum grade: 10 Due date: June 22, 2008 Instructions: Chapter 1 offers us a new perspective of health. Typically we consider our physical health. However, this chapter discusses 6 dimensions that can create a positive or negative affect on our other dimensions. The definition of health is "the everchanging process to achieve ones potential in the following 6 dimensions...". This assignment is a self evaluation of those 6 dimensions. starting on page 8, (also an attachment in case you don't have the book yet) give me scores for these 6 dimensions. All you need to do is give me the scores you recieved in your pre test, your 6 dimensions, and your evaluation in the end. These homework assignments are not difficult, so please expand on your evaluation. I am asking you to be introspective, and give yourself a true self evaluation. Include your scores, and then interpret you scores. Write up an evaluation. Keep in mind that the typical college student is often the most stressed in our society. So, if you find that you are not coping well, you are typical, and not alone. You might be wondering what you are going to do with the rest of your life, or what to do today! You possibly balance school, work and social. All of which have to do with money! And you probably find you have none of that! How about that price of gas? Well, as usual, include a summary of make sure you identify your shortcomings, and your strengths, and give suggestions for improvement, and thoughts on why your strengths are your strengths....
