The first step in creating the level production aggregate plan is to determine how many units must each period to meet demand. This is accomplished by computing the total demand for the year and dividing of work days in the year to give the amount of production required each day, and rounding up since fraction produced. Monthly outputs are calculated by multiplying the number of work days in the month by the num produced per day.
