I love online education! My schedule does not allow me to take traditional classroom courses, so I am extremely grateful for this technological advancement in education. Sometimes I miss listening to lectures and watching PowerPoint presentations, as I am a visual and auditory learner; and it is a little more difficult to learn by simply reading material. However, I did have one online instructor that sent us lectures by mail in the form of a CD of a PowerPoint presentation with his own audio, or lecture, attached. It would play on my computer as if my computer screen was the overhead and my office the classroom. There was no visual of the instructor, but I sure felt as if I was in the classroom. Definitely the best of both world, but I am sure that if his area of expertise was anything other than computer science, the benefit of these lectures to the students

However, no matter the ways of learning the material, the same material is still learned, and I am very pleased to be able to take advantage of this form of education. Isn't it great to complete 3 units in just 8 weeks, working wherever you please! I liked my first online course a lot, too. I am sure that, as with me, this will not be your last online class. I am now taking all of my classes online. I live in California, so it is the only way that I am able to be a Peru State student. I enjoyed sociology much more than I expected to, and I am excited to learn that your views were broadened as well. Good luck with all of your classes!...
