Writing Assignment 5 1. Every body attracts another body, no matter how big, or how small, and it constant in everything. 2. Newton had initially theorized that the same force the earth produces that pulls on the apple, must be the same force that pulls on the moon. 3. A heavier body does not fall faster than a lighter body because of the constant rate of acceleration. Also they have the same weight to mass ration so that means that just because there is a greater force acting on a greater mass, does not mean that it will result in greater acceleration. 4. a. Keplers Sirst Law: The path of each planet around the Sun is an ellipse with the Sun at one focus. This means they are not perfect circles, and will move faster when closer to the sun and slower when further away. b. Keplers Second Law: The line from the Sun to any planet sweets out equal areas of space in equal time intervals. This means that even though the planet is moving faster when closer to the Sun and slower when further away, given the same time interval (say 30 days) the
