Rubric Quiz 2 Some general notes: The quiz is worth 10 points. The three letter grades on your exam refer to questions 1, 2 part a, and 2 part b respectively. Total points for the quiz are broken up as follows: Question 1: 1.5 points Question 2: part a: 4 points part b: 4.5 points Grade values below are given as a percentage of the points for that particular question or question part. For example if you got an R on question 2 part a you got 95% of 4 points, or 0.95*4 points = 3.8 points. Question #1 – 1.5 points each This table represents the first letter on the top of your page. Grade (value) Description Q (100%) Correct W (95%) Correct with minor math error or correct but answer missing units S (85%) Correct wavelength for the harmonic used, but uses wrong harmonic A (60%) Incorrect (or correct) wavelength without work (most commonly λ = 1m), uses λ = Δx/n; v=λf used correctly F (25%) States v string = v air or uses that to find wavelength and/or velocity X (10%) Some work Z (0%)
