This collaborative technology empowers its workers with social computing, which includes blog, wiki and mashup. This article mentions the technology communication of a wiki. A wiki is a website that allows the easy creating and editing of any number of interlined web pages through a web browser. This type of communication is not really popular, since anyone that accesses the wiki can edit it. The ability for anyone to make edits, makes it difficult to ensure that all the information on the wiki is correct. This would not be a great choice for a business who wants the public to know about their products.

The Web 2.0 can be designed for that particular company, which would allow businesses and other organizations to benefit from.
